Boy was 4. He missed. LOP a bit long. I would have cut it some but it was a VHE 28 ga. I thought I would just wait till Boy grew some.

Chart on page 45 of serialization book indicates;
0=1in
00=15/16

My 00 28 ga. measures 30/32". I couldn't get a decent picture.

Interesting; TPS shows the 000 hammerless frame to be 13/16; in theory that should be an 0000 frame.
It appears that only a few 20 gauge hammer guns, lifter or top action, survive. If you have ; or have access to a small gauge hammer gun, measure the firing pin spacing and post it.
I will bring the gun shown to the Annual Meeting
