| Or..........A closer look might indicate things look worse than they really are. However, if that were the case, it probably would be mentioned by the seller.

The gun is at $1200.00 and still doesn't meet reserve. This could get interesting.

Adding to the vlue is the fact that it has been test fired. Maybe by Sherm Bell?

I am having a hard time even imagining where or how it could have been kept to cause that kind of damage. It must have been in a Salt Air environment in a coastal
duck camp and forgotten by some moron.

I am guessing it was in a case ; in a damp location for quite a while. Sad situation, it appears to have been in nice condition before the rust.

Classic case of when two fools meet. Buyer for offering $1500.00 and seller for not taking it.

If reserve isnt met at 1500.00, after they get to whatever reserve might be,just imagine the actual cost of purchase and bringing the old girl back to life ! And thats only if the bores are alot cleaner than the outside !

| Its not nice to be calling one of our members names. I would bet that someone in this association has the high bid, And the money is no object to bring the gun back.

Roger that Steve. Could be Kaas is bored and lacking orphans to resurrect! What better project than this one? It's my dream gun if it had shorter bbls, but my bank acct is way to anemic for that one....

| I would have no interest in restoring that fine example. The seller says the bores are wonderful. Imagine showing up at the local tame pheasant gunnery or side by side shoot with that baby. It could also be a centerpiece of a Parker display at the annual meeting. Bid high and bid often, four more days to go.

It brings tears to my eyes that someone is willing to pay 1500 for this thing!

I think Don Kaas should buy this gun and test his newly aquired micro welder on the pits in the barrels.. Anyone here ever see rust warts like those without pits underneath?

Some guns are just gone, R.I.P. this D grade...The Village Gun Shop in Gap. PA has a perfectly presentable and serviceable 32" DH with a straight grip for $1500, I passed on that...I've got my hands full with Foxes, Lefevers and Parker hammerguns....
